My second post: what is my position about feminism?

First of all, what is feminism or the feminist movement? According to the international women's development agency (IWDA), feminism is " about all genders having equal rights and opportunities.

It’s about respecting diverse women’s experiences, identities, knowledge, and strengths, and striving to empower all women to realize their full rights.

It’s about leveling the playing field between genders, and ensuring that diverse women and girls have the same opportunities in life available to boys and men".


Being this a movement that seeks to revolutionize the perspectives of stereotypes imposed on women in the most remote times, why is there so much controversy and reluctance, even by women themselves towards this movement?

I think that we should all be feminists, for the 10 women who die in Mexico every day, for Fernanda, for Claudia, for Susi, for all the women who have been abused and those who have not, because they are also prone to being. So, for the women who cannot go out in shorts, do you know why? Because what is short is not the clothes we wear, but the education of the bullies, the abusers who fall short compared to the clothes we decide to wear because it is OUR body and OUR decision.

So yes, I support feminism, which goes beyond being despotic and lazy women, we are women who paint the streets, the walls, the buildings, not because we are crazy, not because we do not want to be peaceful. We tried to be and nobody paid any attention to us, the statistics kept increasing, women kept dying, we kept disappearing, we still don't feel safe on the streets, mothers keep looking for their daughters and nobody is doing anything.

Tell me, if you are a woman and you are not a feminist, do you not feel anything for your sisters who die? aren't you being empathetic? Do you even know the concept of sisterhood?

And if you are a man and you can't stand the movement, I don't have to tell you to think that that woman who died today could be your sister, of course not, I don't have to get to that point, you should be empathetic, right? This is not your fight, because you do not die for the simple fact of being a man, you do not die to dress as you want, if you are not to support the movement, I am sorry, but you can sit down and be silent. YOU DONT DECIDE ABOUT US.

  My tenth post: The death penalty. According with DPIC, More than 8500 people have been sentenced since the 1970s. The death penalty discourages criminals from committing serious crimes. And according to the Washington state government. The methods of execution have gradually become more humane over the years, so the argument that the death penalty is cruel and unusual is not valid. Without the death penalty, some criminals would continue to commit crimes. The death penalty is not revenge, it is retribution. Retribution is not the same as revenge. Retribution is a necessary part of the punishment process. The legal system is constantly evolving to maximize justice.
